As the seasons change, the entire staff at Village DentalCare is reminded of the transitions we have experienced in the last year. Each and every change has been made with our patients in mind. Here are a few of the ways we are working to serve you!
Expanded Office Hours
We've expanded our office hours to better accommodate your busy schedule. We now offer one Friday and on Saturday per month for your dental needs, as well as earlier morning appointments on Wednesdays.
Renovations
The first thing our patients notice is our brand-new, more relaxing waiting area. The comfortable furniture is complimented by new floors, pleasant lighting, and a state-of-the-art television. Also, within a year or two, we hope to make significant changes to the look and feel of the office, with the intent of making your entire dental experience as relaxing, comforting, and aesthetically pleasing as possible.
Thorough Exams With ViziLite
ViziLite is a cutting edge cancer screening program that allows us to detect oral cancer in its earliest stages. Recent studies show that 25% of oral cancers occur in people who don't smoke and have no other risk factors. By adding this new technology, we can help put our patients' minds to rest by catching and treating abnormal cells long before they are a serious problem.
Referral Gifting Program
We are a practice built primarily upon your referrals! To show our appreciation, patients who refer their friends to us will now receive gifts in ten, twenty and fifty dollar amounts, based on their number of personal referrals. Gifts range from assisting you with your coffee fix at Starbucks or Tim Horton's, to helping you at the pump with a gas card. Ask the front desk for more details!

We also are starting to gather your e-mail addresses for appointment reminders. Don't worry, we won't spam you or fill your inbox with unnecessary bulk mail! You will just receive a quick note one or two days before your appointment, instead of the customary telephone call. Please let the front desk know if your address is new or needs updated.

Starting this month, we will be sending out a quarterly newsletter with updates, reminders, interviews and procedure highlights, as well as discounts and coupons for you and your family.
New Face, Same Excellent Care
 Our patients have come to trust Village DentalCare for our excellent service and quality care, and they will continue to find that in Dr. Ekaterina Yankelevich. "Dr. Katya" (as her staff and patients know her), received her D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State University in June 2000, and spent a year in the General Practice Residency at OSU treating medically and physically compromised patients. In 2001, she joined a private practice in Columbus, and in September 2006, started her own practice here at Village DentalCare. Dr. Katya is married to Michael, who has two successful businesses in both computers and furniture. Katya and Michael have two sons, Ilya (7 years old) and Thomas (2 years old).
