Dr. Ekaterina (Katya) Yankelevich received her undergraduate degree at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Yankelevich studied molecular genetics and was involved in research. She maintained a 4.0 GPA and graduated summa cum laude from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.
That same year she was accepted to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. degree in June, 2000. After dental school, Dr. Yankelevich continued her dental education and gained more experience in the General Practice Residency at OSU treating medically and physically compromised patients. She also completed experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, anesthesiology and general medicine. In 2001, Dr. Yankelevich joined a private practice in Columbus, Ohio. In 2006, she started her own practice in Columbus' beautiful German Village. Her motivated, well-trained and happy dental team provides uncompromising state-of-the-art dental care in a comfortable and nurturing environment.
Gail Still, RDH
This July will mark twenty-three years in the hygiene field for Gail Lynn Still. A native of Wooster, OH, Gail received her B.S. in education from The Ohio State University in 1985, where she also graduated from the dental hygiene program at the OSU dental school. In1996, Gail joined the staff at Village DentalCare. Gail’s spare time is spent working out, hanging out with friends (usually at El Vaquero) and riding horses, though she doesn’t own one at this time. Gail has also been a violinist since she was nine and even played for two years in the Wooster Symphony. Gail resides in Galloway with her cat, Abby.
Chuck Usher, RDH
Chuck Usher, our newest staff member, brings over thirty-five years of experience to Village DentalCare. In 1970, he began as a dental tech in the US Navy then earned his associates in dental hygiene in 1978. He also has a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Chuck is a hiking enthusiast, enjoys travel, weight training and yoga, and teaches Thai Yoga Massage throughout the state of Ohio. He resides in historic Harrison Park.
Angela Bridger, DA, Assistant
Angela Bridger, ("Angie") began her dental career in 1997 after she took an extensive dental training course, then continued her education in private practice in Columbus. Angie graduated from Groveport Madison High School in 1989 and has been working with Dr. Katya since 2002. She and her partner, Mark, live with his daughter Carly (13), dog Rally, and two cats Katie and Tiger. When she’s not in the office, Angie loves to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys long walks with Rally.
Carey Settles, DA, Assistant
Carey Ann Settles started her dental career four years ago at Village DentalCare. Carey was born in Newark, OH, and grew up in southern Columbus, where she graduated from South High School. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and heating up the lanes at the bowling alley. She not only likes playing at her local lanes, but Carey also competes nationally alongside her fiancé, Brian, and recently returned from a competition in Reno, Nevada. They both are raising their 18-month-old daughter, Brilee, and their dog, Beanie, in Reese.
